In ice hockey training, players often get to practice flow and controlled drills with the puck, where the feel of the stick and gloves is important. However, if you think about it from a performance standpoint, then the functionality of the skate and the blade of the skate is ultimately the most important aspect. In a professional game, a defender is able to play for around 25 minutes on the ice, and out of those 25 minutes, he/she has the puck for only a few minutes. The time without the puck is about 20 plus minutes. Skating as an individual skill and secondly game intelligence play a big role if you want to rise to a higher level.

The functionality of the blade is the single most important piece of equipment that can be shaped according to individual needs. We understand that everyone has an individual skating style. Therefore we have developed the Skate Profiling Fitting concept for Kiekkobussi. Skate Profiling design can be done on your current skates and is included in the new custom skates purchased from Kiekkobussi for free.

We offer 150 pairs of blades, from which the correct options are specified at the ordering stage. We offer a Skate Profiling for three brands (Bauer, CCM and True) On ice we will find the blade shape that best suits your individual skating style.
